This is the latest James Patterson book that I've read. Its a real page turner with lots of suspense . Highly recommended to all those who read JP and for those who don't, check it out. (of your local library)

A peek at my project

Time for a much needed change

My desk at work is messy, dull, cramped, out-dated and just plain boring. I've undertaken a little project to brighten up my space since I spend 37 hours there each week, most of it looking ahead at my my computer and the divider just beyond. I will also help me to become more organized and ready for the busy season when it hits us in April.

I'll share some "before" shots, the work in progress and finally in a week or so, the new and improved space.

These aren't the greatest shots, but a picture is worth a thousand words.

Bermuda Bound

We're so looking forward to our upcoming cruise to Bermuda! Pink sand beaches, turquoise water, rum swizzles, Bermuda shorts and knee socks, moon gates, colonial architecture, Hamilton, St. George, ferries and buses on the cheap, gardens and flowers and so much more! All this as we celebrate our 38th anniversary while onboard our floating hotel-the new and improved Celebrity Summit!

Two Years

since my last chemo treatment! I am one lucky lady and plan to celebrate my continued good health. I also have the Phil the ground hog to help me remember the date-February 2.

"Every Day in Tuscany"

I just finished this book and highly recommend it for the armchair traveler. Frances Mayes' writing is so descriptive and reading her work makes you want to spend time in Tuscany. I'm even thinking about looking for the "Learn Italian" CD I bought a few years ago and popping it into my CD player. I think it would be so much fun to learn another language! I plan to read another book she wrote-"A Year in the World" which is a travel memoir.
